The department organizes International conferences, Faculty Development Programs, Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Industrial Visits, and National Level Technical Symposium at regular intervals for students. The Department has Centre of Excellence for “Data Science and Big Data Analytics” in association with ICTACT of Tamilnadu and DELL EMC.
